Direct English extends its roots back to founding
Longman Press in 1724, where Longman is considered one of Pearson's.
Now Direct English is a division of Linguaphone
Company, which is deep-rooted in the scope of teaching English and has one hundred
years of age.
Linguaphone educational products are used in more than 90 countries around the world.
In 1999 Al-Khaleej Company for Teaching and Training established
Direct English Institutes for teaching English in the Kingdom, based
on the local market's need at the Saudi working manpower circles, males and females,
where they need to speak English while serving at the various economical sectors.
Now, Direct English centers amount to 40 centers
for males and the same number for females kingdom-wide in :
